Former Liverpool FC player turned pundit, Jamie Carragher, says there will be serious questions asked of head coach Arne Slot as the club endures a four game losing streak in the English Premier League.
He said this on Sky Sports after Liverpool lost 3-2 to Brentford marking the fourth time in a row that The Reds have lost in the league.
Liverpool have four losses in five games in all competitions with a 5-1 hammering of Frankfurt being the club’s sole win in this period.
The defending league champions have slipped to seventh in the league standings with the club struggling to replicate its 2024-2025 season form.
“To see the champions lose 4 games in a row in the Premier League with the expenditure in the summer, I think we’re in crisis time for Liverpool right now.”

“Losing four games in a row for Brentford would be a disaster. For any promoted team…You can’t lose four on the bounce.”

“There will be a lot of serious questions asked in the dressing room the manager and the coaching staff and also the people above the manager and the players. When they’ve looked at what they’ve spent, the players they’ve gone out and got they’ll be looking for a lot more” Carragher said.
