Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards picked up a hamstring injury in the team’s 114-110 win over the Indiana Pacers but his Timberwolves teammate Naz Reid believes Edwards will be fine.

Edwards took a hard contact on a layup attempt early in the game and was subbed out of the contest for Bones Hyland. The team announced that Edwards felt tightness in his hamstring in his right leg.

However, head coach of Minnesota Timberwolves Chris Finch provided no further update on Anthony Edwards’ injury in the team’s second win in three games in the 2025-2026 season.

In Edwards’ absence, Julius Randle led Minnesota by registering 31 points and six assists in 39 minutes with Naz Reid adding 16 points and 10 rebounds and went on to add that,

“Having Ant[Anthony Edwards] is a luxury, but I think he’ll be all right. I think he’ll play tomorrow. We’ve seen him do that plenty of times before.”
