Head coach of Comoros’ National Men’s Football Team, Stefano Cusin, isn’t willing to predict the outcome of the game involving his team and Ghana’s Black Stars on Sunday, October 11 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 19:00 GMT.

The game is the final 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier for both teams with Ghana all but qualified to next year’s tournament due to have three extra points and an eight difference over second ranked Madagascar.

Despite Comoros beating Ghana twice in recent years including securing a 1-0 win over the Black Stars in the opening round of the World Cup qualifiers, Cusin was coy about stating the outcome of the game.

“Every match has a different story. We played well [when we beat Ghana 1-0] and maybe that day Ghana wasn’t in the best form. I think every game has a different story so we will see” Cusin said in a pre-game presser.

Ghana captain Andre Ayew was sent off in the loss to Comoros.

Comoros beat Ghana 3-2 at the 2021 AFCON to eliminate the Black Stars at the group stage; Ghana is aiming to officially qualify to its fifth World Cup and a win or a draw against Comoros would get the Black Stars there.
