Black Stars celebrate qualification to 2026 FIFA World Cup

Head coach of Comoros National Men’s Football Team Stefano Cusin has praised Ghana for qualifying to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He went on to state that he is sure the Black Stars of Ghana will have a great campaign in next year’s World Cup that will take place in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

Cusin made these comments in his post-game after Comoros lost 1-0 to Ghana at the Accra Sports Stadium to close out the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign for both nations.

The win over Comoros meant that Ghana finished on top of Group I to qualify to its fifth World Cup in six straight editions of the tournament.

“You [Ghana] have wonderful players, you have history, you have experience and everything so I am sure you are going to make a great World Cup” Cusin said.
