Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo is racking up goals at the fastest rate in his professional career and has attributed his improved form in front of goal to his work in the offseason.
The Black Stars forward scored twice and added an assist in AFC Bournemouth’s 3-1 comeback win over Fulham; Semenyo was directly involved in all three goals Bournemouth scored to pick up its fourth win in seven games played in the EPL so far.
His production against Fulham increased his tally to six goals and three assists in seven games and while describing his first of two goals scored against Fulham as perfectly executed, he spoke about what has led to his improved form in front of goal. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“In previous seasons I have hit the ball too quickly so throughout the off season it was about being calm.”

“I know if I place it I will score. That’s what I have implemented this season and the results are showing” Semenyo said to Sky Sports.
