Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne delivered the best response to rumours of a simmering rift between him and Napoli head coach Antonio Conte by starring in Napoli’s 2-1 win over Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League.
De Bruyne provided the assists on both Rasmus Hojlund goals for Napoli in the win on Wednesday, October 1. Hojlund, who is on loan from Manchester United, has scored three goals in five Napoli games.
In the lead up to the game, Conte fired a warning in the direction of De Bruyne over the former Man City player’s angry reaction for getting subbed off in a 2-1 loss to AC Milan in the league but De Bruyne suggested that he doesn’t have any problem with Conte saying, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
