Seven games in all competitions into the Ange Postecoglou era, Nottingham Forest are yet to register a win with the team’s latest loss coming in the league on Sunday.
The poor form of last season’s surprise package continued as Newcastle United beat Nottingham 2-0 at the St. James’ Park to keep Postecoglou still without a win.
Since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo with the former Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Forest have lost to the likes of FC Midtjylland in the Europa League and to Swansea City in the Carabao Cup but Postecoglou isn’t fretting.
“There’s nothing wrong with things being tough. I did have an option – I could have been sitting on the couch watching the game and not be in the middle of it. I’d much rather be here. I love a fight” he said to the BBC and added that

“If people want to make an assessment after three and a half weeks, after we have had seven games, there’s nothing I can do about that.”

Forest rank 17th in the league standings with five points from seven games that include four losses.
