Dreams FC goalkeeper Gidios Aseako

Head coach of Dreams Football Club, Winfred Dormon, delivered a scathing review of Dreams goalkeeper Gidios Aseako’s performance in the club’s 3-2 loss to Swedru All Blacks.

Aseako was fingered for his poor judgment in all three goals Dreams FC conceded including the first goal from All Blacks’ highly rated striker Rudolf Mensah in the first half.

The win is All Blacks’ third of the season on its return to the Ghana Premier League after over a decade’s absence; the game was played out at the University of Ghana Stadium.

During his time as Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito slammed Aseako for his ill-advised penchant for coming off his line too early and Winfred Dormon didn’t go easy on the shot stopper by stating in a post-game presser that, (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“The team was off-colour, we were just not good enough…and individual errors on the part of the goalkeeper cost us three avoidable goals.”

“When we went into the break we spoke to the [the players] especially the goalkeeper, we lifted his confidence but then another error…and we conceded a goal [in the second half].”
