Swedru All Blacks striker Rudolf Mensah says the club’s head coach, Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi, is working to turn him into a “Hybrid Striker”.
He said this in a post-game presser after All Blacks’ shock 3-2 win over Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Stadium for its first win away from home in the 2025-2026 season.
Mensah, who powered All Blacks’ qualification to the top division by scoring 27 goals in 30 games, was named Man of the Match and was confident the things would get better for the club after the win and added that, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“When the coach-Ahmed Fathy-came in, he’s [been] trying his best to try and create some different type of football in Ghana.”

“He’s trying to create hybrid players; for me, he’s trying to create a hybrid striker in me. More like I can also be a midfielder, I can be a defender and also be a striker.”

Mensah scored the first of All Blacks’ three goals in the 16th minute in the win over Dreams FC.
