Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, blamed his team’s lack of patience in front of goal to finish off chances in the team’s goalless draw against Bechem United at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa in the Ghana Premier League.

Playing its third game under recently appointed head coach Kobina Amissah, Bechem United largely camped deep in their in the course of the game and almost nicked a late winner when veteran winger Augustine Okrah’s effort came off the post.

Speaking after the game, Ibrahim Tanko also highlighted the outstanding performance of Bechem goalkeeper Benjamin Kwesi’s effort in thwarting his side.

“I think we had most of the ball but I think the last bite was not there and…they-Bechem-came to play with all their men behind the ball and then go for the counter and it worked for them very well.”

“I think we didn’t have patience to finish off our build up(s)” Tanko said.
