Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club midfielder Lord Hilary Adabo has praised teammate Hubert “Vitinha” Gyau for his exploits in the 2025-2026 Ghana Premier League.

Adabo talked up the qualities of the former Berekum Chelsea player ahead of Kotoko’s eye catching game against 2023-2024 league winners FC Samartex on Sunday, November 23 at the Nsenkyire Arena in Samreboi.

Gyau, scored two brilliant goals in Kotoko’s 4-2 win over Karela United and added another banger in the Porcupine Warriors’ 2-1 win over Young Apostles ahead of this Sunday’s clash and Adabo believes that having Gyau on the team is a plus.

“He is very confident in himself…and he is always helping us upfront so he’s really doing a lot for us. He’s been a target man for us this season.”

“When teams are coming to play us their target solely is on him which gives other players the space to also operate and that’s a plus for us” Adabo said to Kotoko media.

Kotoko are the only unbeaten team in the Ghana Premier League heading into Sunday’s clash.
