Bechem United’s newly appointed head coach, Kobina Amissah, says he is confident the Hunters will retain their Premier League status by the end of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Bechem United recently parted ways with former head coach Desmond Isaac-Botchway and his assistant Bright Anthony Konadu after a poor start to the season that saw them manage only one win, three draws, and four defeats in their opening eight games.

Coach Amissah, who takes charge at a crucial time, believes his experience and the players’ determination will help the team turn their fortunes around.

“I can say the league is too young . We have about 25 matches to go so we have more time . We are going to bounce back strongly and make sure we do the right things. We have to concernatrate and make sure we play to the decision of the instructions we gave them .”

The team currently sits 16th on the table with just 6 points from 9 matches, struggling to find consistency in their campaign.
