Chelsea Football Club head coach Enzo Maresca has stated that his team’s shocking draw against Azerbaijan side Qarabag was down to the difference in execution inside the opposite penalty boxes.
Chelsea needed an Alejandro Garnacho in the 53rd minute to draw 2-2 with Qarabag despite having fast start with Estevao scoring in the 16th minute.
The Blues conceded twice in 10 minutes to trail at the end of the first half got the equalizer through Garnacho’s firm strike and Maresca highlighted actions in both penalty boxes proved to be the biggest difference in the game.
“In our box, we conceded two goals that we can avoid. In their box, for the amount of times we arrived there, we need to be a bit more clinical.”

Midfielder Romeo Lavia was replaced in the eighth minute by Moises Caicedo after picking up an injury.
