Liverpool FC head coach Arne Slot says there aren’t enough excuses to explain the club’s bad performances over the past two months.
The Merseyside club has lost six in seven games in the English Premier League leading the club to slip to 12th place in the standings.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, November 26, Slot believes Liverpool is equipped to handle the terrible slump.
“It is ridiculous. It is unbelievable. I have said many times you will never find enough excuses for us to perform like this…but this is maybe the best club to face it, the harder it gets at this club, the more we are together” Arne Slot said according to ESPN and added that

“To be honest, I didn’t expect myself to be in this situation with the way we go about it tactically and the quality of players we have.”

The poor form of Liverpool have led to calls for Slot to be sacked while former Man United player Wayne Rooney says Slot should drop Mohamed Salah from Liverpool’s starting lineup. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
