Liverpool FC forward Hugo Ekitike says it’s a blessing to share the pitch with Mohamed Salah as the latter prepares to compete in the 2025 AFCON with Egypt.

Salah played in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League which was his first game after completely missing out on the past two games for the Reds after accusing the team of “throwing him under the bus”. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Ekitike scored twice in the win with the Frenchman scoring in either half to seal Liverpool’s third win in five games in all competitions; Arne Slot’s men drew the other two games.

Salah checked into the game in the 26th minute as replacement for the injured Joe Gomez and assisted Ekitike’s second goal via a corner kick and Ekitike praised Salah after the game saying according to the BBC,
