Ghana winger Osman Bukari says he wants to help Widzew Lodz achieve big results after joining the team in a surprise move.

Black Stars player Bukari joined the Polish club on a four and a half year deal that is set to run to 2030; he was reportedly signed for a Polish League record of five million euros.

Prior to his move, Bukari played for Austin FC in the Major League Soccer where he registered six goals and eight assists in 50 games.

After penning a heartfelt message to Austin FC fans after his departure, Bukari stated his ambitions for his new club in his first official interview as a Widzew Lodz player.

“I‘m not saying I want to score 10, 15, or 20 goals. I want to be useful to the team and help them achieve results.”

“The season is long, and there are ups and downs. I’d like to score and assist as much as possible” Bukari said.

Bukari also shared that competing in European football again was a major reason behind the move.
