Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown has made the bold claim that sharp shooter Steph Curry won’t beat him in a one on one basketball game.
Brown built his controversial statement on the size difference between him and the Golden State Warriors guard who is regarded as the greatest three point shooter in basketball history.
While discussing basketball matters with streamer DDG on Twitch, the NBA Champion picked himself over Curry to come out on top should they face off in a one on one basketball game.

“It’s like weight classes. He’s too small. In one-on-one, Curry’s not beating me. But who’s up? You think there is going to be a clip or something. There won’t be any clip” Brown said on the livestream.
Brown, a 29 year old 6 foot 6 inch player, is averaging 29.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.9 rebounds in the 2025-2026 season for the Boston Celtics who rank fourth in the Eastern Conference standings.

6 foot 1 inch 37 year old Curry on the other hand, is averaging 28.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists for the Golden State Warriors who rank ninth in the Western Conference standings.
