Antoine Semenyo signed off on possibly his last game for AFC Bournemouth on a brilliant note as he scored his 10th league goal in the 2025-2026 season to aid Bournemouth score an important win over Tottenham Hotspurs.

Semenyo scored in added on time to give the Cherries a 3-2 win over Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium to snap a 10 game winless run ahead of Semenyo’s purported move to Manchester City with the Citizens reportedly activating the £65 million release clause for the Black Stars forward.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Bournemouth Manager Andoni Iraola says Semenyo will be a big miss by stating,

“Today was the perfect moment, also for Antoine [Semenyo]. To play the way he did, the commitment to help in whatever way until the last second. I think football has been fair and given him a lovely moment.”

“I think it was [his last game for us], unluckily for us I think it was. He has been if not the best, one of the best I have coached. He has improved every single season. He has scored 10 goals in half a season and not even a number nine.”

“It is not just the numbers but a lot of things – the physicality, the balls in the air and the defensive things. He will be a big miss.”
