Manchester City defender Marc Guehi says he has more to learn at his new his club after making his debut. Guehi joined City from Crystal Palace this past week.
The English player has gone on to make his Man City debut that happened in a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium.
Omar Marmoush and Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo scored in the win which represented a solid bounce back for Man City after losing 3-1 to Bodo-Glimt in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week.
Guehi played out the entire duration of the game and was heavily engaged in the game in the late minutes as City absorbed sustained pressure from Wolves. Guehi delivered a key block to prevent a goal.
Speaking to the BBC after the game, Guehi said there was more to catch up on by stating that,

“It was OK from my part, I have got a lot of learning to do to get up to speed. There’s a lot of details and positioning and certain things but it has been really exciting.”

“There’s a good mentality about the group…We need the mentality and the intensity within the side and hopefully we will keep that going.”
