A former Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Dr. K.K. Sarpong, has pointed to the Porcupine Warriors’ double league triumph as the proudest moment in his tenure at Kotoko.
He made this revelation in an exclusive interview on Channel One TV’s Face to Face while discussing his political views on the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) upcoming primaries on January 31.
Dr. Sarpong, served as the lead man for Kotoko from 2010 to 2013 and the club also two Super Cup (Champion of Champions) titles before his exit which he stated was at the right time.
“I won two league cups back to back; they hadn’t won it for about seven years so that was the proudest moment. When the time comes for you to leave, nobody should tell you you should exit and I left at the right time” he stated.

At the time of writing, Kotoko rank fourth in the Ghana Premier League standings after drawing goalless against Bibiani Gold Stars and Berekum Chelsea and losing 2-1 to Swedru All Blacks.
