Referee Daniel Laryea has been appointed to officiate the much-anticipated Super Clash between arch-rivals Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Laryea will be assisted on the lines by Paul Atimaka and Seth Abletor, while Nii-Kwofie Gideon serves as the Fourth Official for the high-stakes Ghana Premier League encounter.

The experienced official recently returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, where he reportedly earned full marks for his performance in the semi-final fixture between Morocco and Nigeria.

His selection for one of Ghana football’s biggest fixtures is widely viewed as a strong endorsement of his capacity to handle matches of significant pressure and national attention.

With both clubs seeking momentum and bragging rights, Laryea’s role will be pivotal in ensuring a smooth and fair contest in front of what is expected to be a packed Kumasi crowd.
