Birmingham City FC manager Chris Davies has commended Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman for his positive impact since joining the club.

Osman joined Birmingham on loan from parent club Brighton and Hove Albion till the end of the 2025-2026 season after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre.

The 22 year old scored his debut goal for Birmingham in the club’s 2-1 win over Leicester City by robbing the ball off Ricardo Perreira and tucking the ball into the net in the third minute. (Scroll down to watch video)

The game also had fellow Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku score another brilliant goal for his seventh goal in the campaign. (Scroll down to watch video)

Speaking after the game to the club’s media, Davies shared his thoughts on Osman’s play and called on the Black Stars winger to keep being fearless.

“He’s been a great outlet for us; real speed, loves to be one v one. I want him to take risks. I love his positivity, I want him to keep that fearlessness but what I love most is that he combines that with hard work.”
