FC Barcelona prepped themselves in the best way for the second leg of the Spanish Cup (Copa Del Rey) match against Atletico Madrid with a big win over Villarreal in the Spanish League.

Barcelona bagged a 4-1 win over Villarreal with Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey being an unused substitute for Villarreal.

In a game that had landmark feats recorded, Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal scored a hat-trick of goals for the first time in his professional career. (Scroll down to watch video)

The game marked Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick’s 100th game in charge of the club and despite trailing 4-0 from the first leg against Atletico Madrid, Yamal is confident the club can turn it around.

“A few months ago I didn’t feel good playing, it wasn’t just the pubalgia (chronic pain in the groin area, I wasn’t happy…but now? I’m doing really well and enjoying everything.”

“People always want me to score 100 goals per game at 18… I’d like that too, but it’s very difficult you know? One, two, three goals… it’s only important to help the team win.”
