I’m happy to be here- Tammy Abraham after rescuing point for Aston Villa

English striker Tammy Abraham says he is happy to be back competing in the English Premier League for Aston Villa.

He made these feelings clear after scoring in Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United after coming off the bench in his latest outing as a loanee.

Abraham who played for Chelsea, is on loan at Villa till the end of the season from Turkish side Besiktas. This is Abraham’s second loan stint at Aston Villa.

After coming off the bench in the 75^th minute, Abraham reacted first to a loose ball in the penalty box to score Villa’s equalizer in the 88^th minute and in his post-game address to the club’s media he said,

“It feels like a dream to come back and play for this club again.”

“I’m happy to be here and bring extra energy. I had to sniff around the box, be alert, be ready. Luckily for us, I got the goal.”

“These things are important in football. Set pieces have been one of the key factors in football. We were hungry. Well done to Ezri [Konsa] for the first contact and I was there for the second contact. It was in front of some of the best supporters in the world.”
