Hearts of Oak defender Baba Adamu has talked about the immense positive state of the club heading into its Ghana Premier League game against Berekum Chelsea after beating arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Hearts beat Kotoko 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi thanks to Adamu’s header that looped over Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Camara.
The win moved Hearts from fourth place to second place in the league standings and within five points of league leaders Medeama SC.
Hearts take on Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, February 22 and Adamu is looking to forward to a super motivated Hearts team compete in the contest.
“We are very confident [ahead of the game against Berekum Chelsea] especially after the win we had in the super clash-against Kotoko- last week; it has motivated us so well and I know we will want to keep the consistence…so we are well prepared for that game” Adamu said.

Chelsea rank 14th in the league standings.
