Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa believes his team is capable of performing way better than it did against Osasuna in its La Liga game on Saturday, February 21.
Madrid lost 2-1 to Osasuna after conceding a 90th minute goal from Raul Garcia who beat the offside the trap and beat Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio with a beautiful move before slamming the ball into the net.
Vinicius Jr, fresh off being the target of an alleged racial abuse in Rea Madrid’s win over Benfica in the UEFA Champions League, equalized for his side after Ante Budimir converted a first half penalty for Osasuna.
Addressing the media after the shock loss, Arbeloa believed his team could have done better than it did ahead of the return leg against Benfica in the upcoming week.
“It wasn’t a good game for us. We can do a lot more, we can play much better. Nobody wants to lose of course.”

“We have to keep working, we have to open teams up on the wings.”

“We’re playing a lot down the left, but we have to do it on the other side too, otherwise we’re too easy to defend” Arbeloa said.
