Four time English Premier League champion Raheem Sterling has joined Dutch side Feyenoord on a free transfer after leaving Chelsea.

Sterling signed for the Eredivisie club as a free agent till the end of the season officially ending his chaotic recent months at Chelsea.

Prior to his release and subsequent move to Feyenoord, Sterling was sent on loan to Arsenal from Chelsea in the 2024-2025 season and was excluded from the Blues team and forced to train alone earlier this season.

Sterling joins Feyenoord at a time Robin Van Persie’s team rank second in the Dutch league 17 points behind leaders PSV Eindhoven but Sterling believes Feyenoord is a place he can be happy.

“I’m confident that Feyenoord is a place I can be happy and establish myself as a valued member of the team.”
