Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says his team cannot wait to play Tottenham Hotspurs in the North London Derby later this weekend.
The Gunners play Spurs on Sunday, February 22 at the Tottenham Stadium with Arsenal needing to avoid a loss to maintain its lead atop the English Premier League standings.
Arsenal head into the game on the back of a shocking 2-2 draw with Wolves; Arteta’s side took a two goal lead against the bottom ranked team in the league but conceded twice to miss out on the win.
Speaking ahead of the game against Spurs in a presser, Arteta said his team was revving to get the draw against Wolves out of their system.
“What I’m very interested in is the next one, it’s what we are made of.”

“You have to react to that because life moves on, the result has to stay, unfortunate as it was.”

“It’s-playing Spurs- the one we have after and it’s the one we cannot wait to play. If we could play today, I think we’d all love to play today, to get that feeling that we have in our tummies” Arteta said.

Playing against Arsenal marks Igor Tudor’s first game in charge as interim head coach for Spurs.
