Arsenal ended the latest round of English Premier League games in a more comfortable lead than before after picking up a tough win while closest rivals Manchester City dropped points.
Man City drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest to fall seven points behind Arsenal who beat Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0. Man City have played a game fewer than Arsenal.
A deflected shot from Bukayo Saka in the ninth minute turned out to be the winner for the Gunners; Saka’s goal came on the English forward’s 300th game for Arsenal.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the win, Mikel Arteta was pleased his team got the away win after recently drawing 2-2 at bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“This was a really difficult one after everything we’ve been through in the last few weeks. Every game in the Premier League offers you different things.”

“Big credit to the boys because the effort they put in is astronomical. The commitment of every player is unbelievable and that is why we do what we do” Arteta said.
