The Chief Executive Officer of Hasaacas Ladies FC, Evelyn Nsiah Asare Owusu, has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, marking a significant milestone that highlights the rising intersection of academic excellence and sports leadership in Ghana.

The achievement crowns a distinguished academic path, with qualifications spanning a Master of Philosophy in Procurement Management, an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and dual undergraduate degrees in Procurement Management and Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports.
Beyond academia, the new PhD holder has built a solid reputation in the media space, with experience across several Ghanaian radio and television platforms, and currently serves as Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, playing a key role in shaping sports journalism in the country.
In football administration, the journey has been equally notable. The CEO has previously served as Special Assistant to the Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko SC and as a board member of the club, before taking up the leadership role at Hasaacas Ladies.
Additional contributions include roles within Ghana’s national teams setup, working with the Ghana Black Queens, Ghana Black Princesses, and Ghana Black Maidens, as well as involvement in youth football development structures.
The milestone reinforces the growing importance of academic advancement in sports administration at a time when professionalism and expertise are becoming increasingly critical to the development of the game in Ghana.
