Black Stars starting goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is adamant Accra Hearts of Oak will produce a better performance in its upcoming game.

The Phobians take on Basake Holy Stars on Sunday, March 8 at the University of Ghana Stadium in the Ghana Premier League Week 24 round of games.

Hearts of Oak head into the game on the back of drawing goalless with Berekum Chelsea at home and losing 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani.

Speaking ahead of the game to the club’s media, Asare, who doubles as Hearts of Oak captain, shared that the club’s fans deserve better from the squad and promised to deliver on that responsibility.

“We take responsibility. The fans deserve better and we will show it on Sunday” Asare said ahead of the weekend clash.
