Manchester City have fallen further behind English Premier League leaders Arsenal after failing to beat Nottingham Forest.
City drew 2-2 with Forest at the Etihad Stadium to fall seven points behind Arsenal though City have played a game fewer than the Gunners.
Man City got on the score sheet first through Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo who made a quick adjustment to steer Rayan Cherki’s cross into the box. (Scroll down to watch video)
That was Semenyo’s 15th league goal of the season and the Black Stars players trails only Igor Thiago (18 goals) and teammate Erling Haaland (22 goals) in the league’s scorers chart.
Despite Semenyo’s latest scoring outing, City couldn’t hold on to its lead twice allowing the relegation threatened Nottingham to get a draw.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the draw, Man City captain Bernardo Silva complained about the lack of calls for his team stating,

“Quite frustrating because playing at home and twice we were leading and we couldn’t keep the result. At the end we had a lot of chances, they went up [field] twice and scored two goals. Sometimes football is like this.”

“All the 50-50s have gone against us. The Erling incident – for me it is a penalty. What can Erling do? This season we are used to it, we know how it works.” Scroll down to watch Erling Haaland penalty incident.
