Despite grabbing a big win over Galatasaray to qualify to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike believes the Reds should have scored more goals to register an even bigger win over the Turkish club.

Liverpool beat Galatasaray 4-0 at Anfield in the second leg of their round of 16 stage clash; Liverpool qualified to the quarterfinals via a 4-1 aggregate win.

French striker Ekitike scored in the win that had Mohamed Salah miss a penalty but go on to score a goal and provide two assists and in a post-game interview with TNT Sports, Ekitike was sure the result should have bigger by stating,

“We deserve to be here, so we’re really happy. We did a really good job tonight, we could have won 10-0, so we can look forward to the quarter-final.”

“We made a few changes at half-time and then when I took my chance we felt more free. Everybody did a great job and ran for each other.”
