Head coach of the Ghana national football team, Otto Addo, is expected to announce his squad  later this week for two upcoming international friendly matches later this month.

Sources close to the Ghana Football Association indicate that the German-trained tactician will confirm his squad ahead of friendly encounters against Austria national football team and Germany national football team as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana will first take on Austria on March 27 at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna before facing Germany three days later in Stuttgart.

Following the matches against Austria and Germany, Ghana are also expected to face Wales national football team and Mexico national football team in additional warm-up games.

The Black Stars will meet Mexico in May, although details regarding the venue and exact date are yet to be confirmed.
