Britton has a wealth of experience in hurdling. In 2010, she won silver in the 400m hurdles at the World U20 Championships. Since 2015, she has focused on the short hurdles, finishing runner-up at the 2019 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

At the 2016 United States Olympic Trials, she set a personal best of 12.78 seconds in the 100m hurdles, although she did not progress to the final.

She secured her first senior national podium finish in 2019, placing second in the 60m hurdles at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Following her switch in nationality, Britton made her first international appearance for Ghana at the African Senior Athletics Championships in Cameroon.

Speaking in an exclusive interview ahead of her maiden major international assignment for Ghana, Britton explained the reasons behind her decision to switch allegiance.

More to follow soon……..

The championships in Poland—Kujawy Pomorze 2026—will mark her first major international competition in Ghanaian colours, and she will be aiming to make a strong impression.
