Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Prince Yaw Owusu is adamant Kotoko still have a chance to win the Ghana Premier League title.

Kotoko go into this weekend’s round of games against Nations FC on Sunday, March 22 at the Baba Yara Stadium ranked fifth in the league standings and trail leaders Medeama (46 points) by seven points.

The Porcupine Warriors have endured a terrible run of results losing three, drawing one and winning just a game in its last five league outings and take on Nations FC that are yet to lose to Kotoko since making their debut in the GPL but Prince Owusu had a positive look ahead of the game.

“I don’t blame them-fans-for giving up…but I still want to tell them that there is hope and we are ready to change things around. Where we are in the league, that’s not where we are only going to end up.”

“We are going to be coming up so they-the fans-should be with us till we get up there so that we will be happy together” Prince Owusu said to the club’s media.
