2026 World Cup: I see Ghana doing well despite challenges- Kofi Adams [VIDEO]

Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, envisages a successful campaign for the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite the team’s challenges ahead of the competition. [Scroll down to watch video]

His optimistic view comes on the back of the Black Stars losing four friendly games in a row including a 5-1 loss to Austria ahead of the World Cup.

This year’s World Cup runs from June 11 to July 19 in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada with Ghana in Group L alongside England, Croatia and Panama.

Speaking on Channel One TV exclusively, Kofi Adams said a new head coach for the Black Stars will be announced by Monday, April 13 following the dismissal of Otto Addo and added that,

“I see us being ready by the time it’s time for us to play our first game; We should be hopeful. This is a World Cup that I see us doing well…we still have what it takes for us to go very very far maybe even possibly win the World Cup.”
