Al-Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus confirmed his exit from the role at the club mere minutes after leading the team to win the 2025-2026 Saudi Pro League title.
Al-Nassr won the league title ahead of Jesus’ former team Al-Hilal to end star player Cristiano Ronaldo’s title drought since joining the club three seasons ago. Ronaldo scored twice in a 4-1 win over DAMAC Club on the final day of competition to win the league title. (Scroll down to watch Al-Nassr’s title winning celebrations)
However, amid the post-game celebrations, Jorge Jesus confirmed to CANAL GOAT that he was leaving the club after completing his mission with the team by stating that,

“I only accepted this challenge- to coach Al-Nassr-because I said to Cris (Cristiano Ronaldo); I am going to help you become a champion, we’re going to to win the title and then I’m leaving. Done; for me it’s done. It’s the last game I coached for Al-Nassr.”

Winning the league title with Al-Nassr marked the third time Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus lifted the Saudi League Title after leading Al-Hilal to back to back league title wins in 2024 and 2025. He spent just a season with Al-Nassr before his exit and has been reportedly linked with a return to Turkish side Fenerbache.
