It’s official; the Cristiano Ronaldo title drought at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr is over in the wake of the club winning the 2025-2026 Saudi League Title.
In a two horse race for the title between rivals Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal that went down to the final day of competition, Ronaldo’s team emerged victors after securing a 4-1 win over DAMAC Club.
Ronaldo scored twice in the game with both goals coming after Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman put Al-Nassr in the lead. After three years of missing out on winning a FIFA recognised trophy including losing in the final of this year’s Asian Champions Cup 2, Ronaldo was overcome with emotion after sealing the win with Al-Nassr’s fourth goal.
Following the league capture, the multiple time winner of the Balon D’Or wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page “CHAMPIONS” and reposted a message from the club’s page on the social media platform that stated,

“The End of the Journey! The greatest championship…the toughest league…Al-Nassr officially champions.”
