BetPawa Ghana has announced a GH¢3.5 million sponsorship package for Ghana’s senior national football teams, the Black Stars and the Black Queens, as they prepare for major international assignments.
The sponsorship, unveiled at a ceremony attended by officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), is aimed at supporting the Black Stars’ preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the Black Queens’ campaign at the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Speaking at the event, Head of Local Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility at BetPawa, Borah Ndanyunga, explained that the company had committed GH¢3.5 million towards the two national teams as part of its continued investment in Ghanaian football.

The Black Stars are expected to continue their build-up towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Ghana will be aiming to make a strong impression at the tournament as it seeks to add to its rich World Cup history.

Meanwhile, the Black Queens are preparing for the next edition of the Women’s AFCON, where they will be hoping to re-establish themselves among the continent’s elite after showing signs of progress in recent international competitions. The latest sponsorship will help both teams prepare for success on the continental and global stages
