Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan continued her impressive Diamond League form, winning the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2026 Rabat Diamond League in Morocco in 12.28 seconds.
The world record holder matched her season’s best and set a new meeting record, breaking her previous mark in Rabat.

Amusan first ran 12.28 seconds at the Xiamen Diamond League earlier this month, where she finished second to American hurdler Masai Russell. Russell won that race in 12.14 seconds, the second-fastest time in history and just 0.02 seconds outside Amusan’s world record of 12.12 seconds.

The Nigerian opened her 2026 Diamond League campaign with 12.41 seconds in Shanghai before improving to 12.28 seconds in Xiamen and matching that time again in Rabat.
While Amusan’s victory underlines her strong start to the season, Russell’s recent performances have intensified the race for the world record.
