FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick says his side is fully focused on defeating archrivals Real Madrid in Sunday’s El Clásico at the Camp Nou.
A victory for Barcelona would seal the 2025/2026 La Liga title, with Flick’s side holding a 10-point lead at the top of the table heading into the clash.
The build-up to the highly anticipated fixture has been dominated by turmoil at Real Madrid following a reported training ground altercation between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni.
The incident left Valverde with a cut on his forehead and a concussion that has ruled the Uruguay international out of the match against Barcelona.
Speaking ahead of the game, Flick urged his players to seize the opportunity to secure the league title in front of their home supporters by beating their fiercest rivals.

“We want to win the title, the second in a row. Nothing else matters. We’re fully focused on that. We want to win the match at home.”

“The Clásico is hugely important for everyone, for Madrid and for Barça. That’s why we want to win it” Flick said.
