Jeremy Doku’s impressive performance in the 2025/2026 English Premier League season continued as the Belgian winger scored for the third consecutive game.
The Belgium international was on target in Manchester City’s 3-0 victory over Brentford at the Etihad Stadium. This result cut Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table from five points to two.
City also has a game in hand on Arsenal and three matches remaining this season, while the Gunners have two fixtures left after Sunday, May 10’s clash against fellow London side West Ham United.
Doku had already hit top form after scoring twice in City’s 3-3 draw against Everton to rescue a point, and he opened the scoring against Brentford as Pep Guardiola’s side kept the pressure on in the title race.
Speaking after the game, Doku reflected on his recent improvement in front of goal and credited his growing confidence for the strong run of form.
“I’m an instinct player. Today it’s working out.”

“I scored some goals, I’ve always played with instinct but now the goals are coming. I haven’t been a different player” Doku said to the BBC.
