GPL: Augustine Okrah leads goal king race after bagging brace [VIDEO]

Veteran Bechem United forward Augustine Okrah ended up in first place in the goal scorers’ chart of the Ghana Premier League after scoring twice in Bechem’s win over Eleven Wonders.

Okrah’s brace helped Bechem beat Eleven Wonders 3-1 in the first game in the league fixtures for Week 31 in the 2025-2026 season. (Scroll down to watch video)

Long tenured Bechem United forward Okrah, scored his first goal in the second minute and added a second goal to his game tally in added on time in the first half after reacting fastest to a loose ball to steer the ball into the net.

In the wake of his goal scoring feat against Eleven Wonders, Okrah has leapfrogged Samuel Attah-Kumi to first place in the goal scorers’ chart with 13 goals.

Attah-Kumi of Gold Stars has 12 goals at the time of writing ahead of Gold Stars’ potential title decider against Medeama SC.

League leaders Gold Stars take on second ranked Medeama on Sunday, May 3 at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
