Ghana Women’s Premier League side Hasaacas Ladies have received a donation package from Betika Ghana following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Despite their pedigree, the 2025–2026 season ended in disappointment after a 2-1 defeat to rivals Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the league final in Swedru.
The result saw Ampem Darkoa draw level with Hasaacas as the joint most successful clubs in league history, with five titles each.

The bookmaker, which has maintained a three-year partnership with the Takoradi-based club, hosted the team lon Monday, May 4, for a post-season review.
During the visit, Hasaacas Ladies presented their silver medal from the just-ended league campaign as both parties reflected on the season and discussed future plans.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Evelyn Nsiah-Asare said she is confident the team will respond positively to last season’s trophyless campaign and finish the current season on a high note.
“They wanted us to bring the trophy and we were not able but whatever they promised to give us, they have given it to us. So we thank them. We believe that we are not going to disappoint in the FA Cup.
“We pray that the preparations that we have done so far, God should be our helper so that we can bring the trophy. At least we cannot go trophyless for the whole season. Last season was very bad.
“We have to be able to win the FA Cup in order to at least bring something for them to see that their supporters are not going in vain. We thank them and we believe that they will continue to support us.” He added
In recognition of the visit, Betika presented the club with assorted items including bags of rice, canned food, and beverages.

Speaking at the presentation, Betika Country Manager John Khawam praised the team’s performance throughout the season and reiterated the company’s long-term commitment to supporting the club, regardless of results.
“For the past three years we have supported this team and we will always support you no matter what. Although we were hoping you would have won the last game, but nonetheless, at Betika, we will always support you.”he added
President of the club Nana Banyin Eyison expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as an unexpected but motivating show of support following their narrow miss in the title race.
“This pleasant surprise, we least expected it, especially when we have failed where we should have won this trophy, but it’s a consolation from you and that should urge us on that bigger things await us,” he said.
Hasaacas Ladies have turned their attention to the FA Cup as they look to recover strongly after finishing as runners-up in the league to Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
