Former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has donated GH¢20,000, food items and football equipment to inmates of the Nsawam Medium Security Prison.
The donation formed part of the second edition of a charity outreach programme organised by the KN Foundation in partnership with the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) and the Ghana Football Association.
Items presented included 30 sets of jerseys, 29 footballs, 49 hose sets, 100 bags of rice and 50 packs of bottled water.

The programme brought together former footballers, football administrators and members of the media to support inmates and promote rehabilitation through sports and community engagement.
Speaking during the outreach, organisers said the initiative is aimed at giving inmates hope and supporting their reintegration into society through football and social support programmes.
The charity outreach programme also forms part of ongoing efforts by former football stakeholders and corporate partners to use football as a tool for social impact beyond the pitch.
