The San Antonio Spurs rebounded from a 104-102 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game One of their second-round playoff series to tie the series emphatically.

The Spurs beat Minnesota 133-95 in Game Two to tie the best of seven games series, with Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch admitting his side “got punked”.

After relying heavily on Victor Wembanyama in the first game, who struggled to score, San Antonio spread out its offensive game, with all five starters finishing in double figures.

Speaking after the loss to reporters, Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was disappointed with the beatdown.

“We came out cool. Look what happened. That’s what happened tonight.”

“Punked is crazy but, I mean, just look at the film and see what we can gain from it. Watch film, find the holes in it. We didn’t make enough shots to get them out of it” Edwards said.
