Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice spoke highly of his team after the Gunners qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the second time in the club’s history.
Rice featured heavily in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta’s men progressed to the final after securing a 2-1 win on aggregate over the Spanish club.
Beating Atletico also meant that Arsenal maintained their unbeaten run in Europe’s premier competition, and the latest display from Arsenal got a happy Declan Rice to state,
“We have kind of turned a corner again. We went through a stage where we weren’t performing at our best.”

“When you have got confidence in football it is everything. I know everyone is focused. Where this club has come from over the last few years …We have kept building – we have kept pushing each other” Rice said to Amazon Prime.
