Union Berlin defender Arthur Kohn has stated that he will be supporting the Black Stars campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite not making the 26 man squad that will represent the country in this year’s competition.
Ghana’s squad was announced on June 1 ahead of an international friendly tie against Wales on Tuesday, June 2 in Cardiff.
Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was the only Ghana Premier League player who made the cut. (Scroll down to view the full list)

“Wishing my teammates and all Ghanaian fans a successful World Cup. I will be supporting the team and wishing the boys all the best” Kohn said.
