Ghana’s Benjamin Tsivanyo says the Black Satellites have more room to improve on their performance ahead of clash against Burkina Faso in the 2026 WAFU Zone B clash. [Scroll down to watch video]

The match is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 30 at 18:00 GMT in Cote D’Ivoire with Ghana coming of a 4-2 loss to Nigeria and Burkina Faso recording a 3-1 win over Togo.

The loss to Nigeria was pinned on giving away cheap goals according to Ghana head coach Maxwell Konadu and for Tsivanyo, the team must grab a win against Burkina Faso.

“Our heads are up, we are not going to give up…this loss tells us that we have more room for improvement.”

“We know the Burkinabes, they are really strong…we are fully prepared and we have nothing to do but to win this game. We are not playing only for coach [Maxwell Konadu] but for mother Ghana to defend the good name of Ghana. All that we have to do is to play fast [and] stick to the game plan” Tsivanyo said.

🎥 🇬🇭“We’re going to use our technical ability to play fast and avoid injuries. I won’t wait for them to close us down before we do what we want to do.”
